I am a freelance lecturer, specialising in Renaissance and Baroque art and architecture and in British art of the 19th and 20th centuries. I work with The Arts Society (previously NADFAS), as well as with The National Gallery, The Art Fund, and local art groups. I offer a wide range of talks and special interest days, either in person or via Zoom, and I am always happy to adjust or combine topics to provide you with the subject that best suits your programme. Whether you are after an in-depth look at the architecture of Venice or a survey of the career of Raphael, an intriguing introduction to 20th century British landscape painters or wanting to know more about Eric Ravilious and the Second World War, I hope that you’ll find something here of interest.
